Key Responsibilities:
• Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
• Manage backup, security, and user help systems.
• Operate smaller budget projects.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
• Provide users with technical support for computer problems.
Skills and Experience:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
• Good awareness of HL7 integration standards, secure MFT tools, and data extract services.
• Experience with Jira is required.
• Hospital experience is important, particularly familiarity with HL7 as a hospital system standard for integration.
• Understanding of data extracts and interfaces to avoid being blindsided by new terminology or processes.
Additional Information:
• No certification requirements (e.g., PMP or PMI).
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• The project is expected to last approximately nine months, with potential for extension.
• The role will focus on data extracts and integration work, under the guidance of an overall project manager.
• Preferred candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in project management roles.
• Candidates must be able to work central time zone hours, regardless of their location.
• The position is remote, with rare occurrences of on-site travel.
