Key Responsibilities: Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, and fields to meet business requirements. Expert in developing and maintaining custom Jira plugins and scripts using SIL Programming and Groovy scripting. Implement and manage Automation for Jira to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Integrate Jira with other tools and systems to streamline processes. Utilize Jira and Confluence REST APIs and webhooks for integrations and automation. Write SQL queries to query Jira tables in Postgres SQL. Experience with GitLab. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira configurations and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, customizations, and integrations. Stay updated with the latest Jira features and updates to leverage new functionalities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills: Experience with other Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
(1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
(2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects.
(3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
(4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
