JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is?

Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for). To provide some background, this is a new team that was stood up in April; we are responsible for
Supporting our contractor base on the commercial and industrial side of things. There is also a performance/analytics piece. This role is evolving; we are still identifying what this role will do, however some of the basic tasks would be pulling data from various platforms within the company, organizing it and then providing analysis.

2. What does a typical day look like?

This role will require a lot of reporting in Salesforce CRM and other tools and managing intake forms for reporting requests. For example, if the business has a reporting request, they will complete an intake form to explain their request. This resource would be responsible for receiving the request, managing the flow and providing the data. Sometimes this involves working with the business for additional information to support the request. Successful completion of these requests might involve working with other teammates to gather data. In addition, again, as this role is evolving, there are other ad hoc duties within the team that this resource will be responsible for. Once the report is built, this resource will work with the requestor to visualize the data so that senior leadership can understand what we're what we're talking about. Based on leadership feedback, this resource should be able to edit reporting as well.

3. What are the main technology application/software skills/experience this resource will be required to possess?

· Previous Salesforce/dashboard creation experience is helpful to have.

· Resource MUST be proficient with MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts/graphs, formatting, etc. Power BI and Tableau experience would be preferred. Previous [data] analytics experience, including use of Einstein Analytics within Salesforce is preferred as well.

· Resource should also have strong proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

4. Describe work environment / team culture (supportive/collaborative, teamwork or individual contributor)?

The current work environment is HIGHLY collaborative. This resource should not be afraid to ask questions and should poses a customer service mentality.

5. What are the work hours/shift (standard, evening, full time/part time, OT required, on-call for 24/7 operation)? Standard work hours. Leader is flexible on hours, as long as it's 8 hours. This resource should expect to work a standard 40-hour work week. OT may be available, not required.

1. What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications required?

· We are targeting 2-6 years of experience with a strong aptitude for reporting, data visualization.

· Resource should poses a customer service mindset and be highly collaborative.

· Resource must also poses a technical aptitude with, again, a background in analytics.

· A degree is not required; however, some type of business/marketing degree would be preferred.

· SQL knowledge is not required, but this would be helpful

2. What non-technical skills are necessary (i.e., such as communication, problem solving, team player)?

This role will require the need for adaptability. Someone who is okay with ambiguity would do well in this role. Resource should be pleasant. A self-starter, self-driven, and again, highly collaborative; a team player.

3. Ideal candidate background and how many years required?

· 2-6 years of experience.

· Should have examples of analytics experience within resume.

· Targeting former titles such as marketing consultant, analyst or coordinator.

4. Are there any preferred or "nice to have" skills?

Would like to see previous utility experience.

Business degree would be preferred, not required.

Also, having the ability to not only use PowerPoint, but present on the data as well.
