JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports. Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of constructionproject best practices.

What are the top 3-5 skills and qualifications required? 5-7 years of experience with the following: Civil Construction and Inspection Expertise: The role is heavily centered around civil construction, with a focus on ensuring correct grading and land preparation. Experience in civil engineering or construction inspection is essential for overseeing the site preparation and excavation processes. Soil Identification and Site Assessment: A key requirement is the ability to identify different types of soil, as this will impact the preparation and stabilization of the land for solar farm installation. Experience with land surveying or soil assessment is vital. Trenching and Excavation Experience: Hands-on experience with digging trenches and excavation is important, as the role involves working on site preparation and ensuring the terrain is ready for construction. Strong Safety Background: Safety is a top priority for this role. The candidate must have a solid background in safety protocols to ensure compliance and safety standards are maintained throughout the project. Renewable Energy Experience (Preferred, but not required): While not mandatory, experience with renewable energy projects, especially solar farms, is a plus and would enhance the candidate's ability to understand the specific requirements of the project.
