Responsibilities:
- Develop data ingestion and data integration flows using Java, Scala, Python, and other open-source frameworks on big data technologies
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and product development lifecycle
- Define clear requirements in the user story format that guide the Agile software development team
- Build and groom the product backlog .
- Interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume data processing systems that serve analytics applications, visualizations, and real-time online applications .
- Analyze data, optimize performance, and tune systems .
- Work with visualization/dashboard developers to provide data content .
- Coordinate product planning and support on larger, highly complex projects .
- Strong understanding of both software development and business processes .
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology .
- Proficiency with a variety of agile project management tools .
- Strong ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts leading to resolution to keep the projecton track .
- Experience in cloud technologies and thought leadership .
- Knowledge of databases, Java, Agile development practices, methodologies, and tools .
- Experience in developing data ingestion and data integration flows using Java, Scala, Python, and other open-source frameworks on big data technologies .
- User experience and technical design .
- Knowledge of database structures, JSON, XML .
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret test results and drive improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated work experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience in cloud technologies and thought leadership.
