Shift - M-F 7am-4pm, w/ possible overtime when HM approves
Top 3 must haves are Construction/Contractor management, mechanical aptitude, ability to read P&ID's/structural/mechanical/electrical prints

What you'll do
• Perform mechanical and or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of all manufacturing and facilities equipment
• Supervise the upgrades/modifications to all equipment in order to maintain an "As New Status” (Includes function and appearance).
• Identify key areas for improvement and execute the corrective action
• Manage and execute small scale equipment & facility projects
• Perform and execute Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Execute equipment startup, equipment support and calibration.
• Supervise contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc) and coordinate mechanical assemblies
• Communicate in timely manor relevant information pertaining specific programs and engineering disciplines.
• Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades, changes or obsolescence.
• Utilize Root Cause Analysis in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Train/Mentor Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and problem solving

Who you are
• Knowledgeable of engineering principles and common commercial components and the ability to apply them.
• PLC knowledge and experience
• Lean experience a plus
• Working knowledge of engineering standards and safety codes
• Working knowledge of facility related infrastructure, boilers, compressors, etc.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes
• Working knowledge of MS applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Understanding of AutoCAD use and application, working knowledge a plus.
• Three to five years of applicable experience in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering disciplines. Or entry level with a Bachelors degree in mechanical, chemical engineering or equivalent experience is required
