Key responsibilities and expectations:
Customization and Configuration –
  1. Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  2. Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, Lightnings Flows, reports, and dashboards.
Integration –
  1. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, and third-party tools (e.g., MuleSoft).
  2. Work with REST and SOAP web services to integrate data.
Troubleshooting and debugging –
  1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
  2. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and manage deployments in a sandbox or production environment.
Apex & Visualforce Development –
  1. Write custom business logic in Apex and create custom pages with Visualforce.
  2. Build and deploy Lightning Components (Aura and LWC).
Data Management-
  1. Perform data migration, data import/export, and data cleansing tasks.
  2. Use tools like Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or third-party tools for data management.
Collaboration –
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  2. Assist in providing technical solutions based on business needs.
Salesforce Best Practices –
  1. Follow Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and security guidelines.
  2. Ensure code is optimized for performance and scalability.
Continuous Improvement –
  1. Stay updated with new Salesforce releases and features.
  2. Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to Salesforce processes, architecture, and features.
Certifications (must have) –
  1. Salesforce Platform Developer I.
  2. Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201).
  3. ServiceMax 101 (good to have).
Experience - 10 years of experience working with Salesforce development, including both declarative and programmatic features. - Previous experience with Salesforce Lightning is highly preferred.

Soft Skills:
  1. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
  2. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Tools –
Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Changeset, Git, Jira, Jenkins, and other development tools.
Knowledge of ServiceMax managed package would be an added advantage.
